Just because you want it, doesn’t mean it is good for you.

“Ston, she is yours. You may find that having is not so pleasing a thing as wanting. This is not logical, but it is often true.”

 Spock (Amok Time)

We live in a day where the world’s motto seems to be  I want what I want, and I want it now!  Our wants become excuses for all kinds of things; we throw away our spouses, so we can have a “better one”, throw away our children at abortion mills so we can get the career we want, or more things, we throw away precious moments with our families so we can earn the money to buy that new car we want….
But more often then not to late we realize that the greener grass on the other side of the fence was over the septic tank.

It is fine to want more and better things, but we must not forget about the true treasures of life. People are treasures, creations of God. Family is a special gift from God, discarding them in most situations is a terrible thing that should be avoided.
