Matthew 26:36 (HCSB)
Then Jesus came with them to a place called Gethsemane, and He told the disciples, “Sit here while I go over there and pray.”
During his life on earth Jesus slipped away from the crowds, and even his disciples to pray. The Bible makes this especially clear during times that Christ was exhausted, and extremely stressed especially right before his arrest. If Jesus needed a healthy prayer life, imagine how much more we need to have daily communion with God.
Some are intimidated by prayer, but it doesn’t need to be complicated. Prayer is a form of communication, if you can talk to a parent, or atleast a relative that you love or at least respect greatly, you can pray. It can actually be simpler than that. Sometimes your parents misunderstand you , sometimes parents can be nearly impossible to talk to, but never God.
Prayer can be as simple as seeing a Bible verse that touches your heart in a new way, and repeating it, slowly and with thought. You can thank God for the Revelation you just had.
