Jeremiah 10:10
But the LORD is the true God, he is the living God, and an everlasting king:
Why is it when we speak or even quote from the Bible we are always speaking in the past tense? We speak of the God of old but really, He is never really presented as being here with us in the present tense.
The same is true with Jesus. We have God hidden away somewhere and when it comes to Jesus, Lord only knows but he’s never here with us and when His name is brought up His name is in the 3rd person.
So I’m not really even arguing the GOD IS DEAD thing, but that God is alive. And since God is alive, where have we hid Him?
