“13 Reasons Why” is negligent. It panders to the glorification of a tragedy that should never, ever be glossed over or trivialized or romanticized.

Hannah had a mental illness. And with proper care and guidance, her story could have ended a lot differently.

And I pray that for anyone watching it, they realize that too.

  1. I didn’t watch the show myself, but the woman who wrote the blog is one smart cookie, and has endured a lot. I trust her judgement on this.
    Anything that glamorizes suicide is terrible. Before I came to Christ, as an adult there were many times that suicide was a temptation to me. I shutter to think what might have happened, had I watched a show like that.
