How Bright is Your Light?

Matthew 5:14-16

“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house.  In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.

If I were to ask your friends and coworkers if you are a Christian or not, what would the say? Would they have a confident yes for me, or would they stumble around with their words not knowing what to answer? Even your causal acquaintances  should have a clue or two that you are a Christian.  I know many of you may work at a place where you are not allowed to talk about your faith, but even then they should get a sense that something is different about you. Are the words that you use cleaner then the non-Christians at your work? Are you honestly working when others are sweeping their responsiblities under the rug?  If someone were to accidentally pay you to much money would you return it?  Christianity is something more then what you do on Sunday, it should be a lifestyle. As you learn more and more about the Bible (which I hope you are doing every day) Your behavior should slowly start to change to be more like Christ. Gradually your light should get brighter and brighter. Is it getting brighter or is it burning out?
