Don’t forget to love your enemies.

I just saw 2 disturbing videos on you tube. The first one was of a man complaining that a gas station refused to serve a man in military uniform. I agree that this gas station should be picketed, but it the process of telling people about this, he used some nasty racial slurs.

I would be angry too, but the racial slurs helped no one. Name calling only makes you just as nasty as the people you are mad at.

The second video was of an actress dressed as a Muslim being refused service for wearing a Muslim head covering, buy an actor pretending to run a bakery.  The purpose of the video was to see how people reacted to this lady being mistreated.  And surprisingly  enough in this politically correct world we live in the customers were all behind the baker, and did not care that the woman was being mistreated.
I am no fan of Islam, but I know that often times woman have no choice in these things. A Muslim woman who refuses to wear her head covering in public will be MURDERED if she is part of the wrong family! If you must mistreat Muslims please at least give the Muslim woman a break!  But think about it for a moment. The Muslims who deserve our anger deserve it because  they are acting like BEAST! When you mistreat a Muslim you are convincing them that you deserve the kind of treatment that they want to give you.

The answer isn’t to behave like a beast, that kind of behavior should be reserved for times when you are in danger. The best way to treat a Muslim is by finding logical reasons why your world view is correct, and theirs is wrong. Then in the nicest way possible explain to them the truth. And of course pray for them. Being nasty helps no one!

1 Corinthians 13:1-3  If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.

Matthew 5:44   But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,
